Software Projects was created in 1984 by Matthew Smith, Alan Maton and Colin Roach and were based in Woolton, Liverpool.
SP are most fameous for games like Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy but they did lot's of other games like Tribble Trouble, Push Off, Orion etc.
They produced games until 1988.
The artist behind all the glorius covers was Roger Tissyman, and I just love them !
They also had a budget label called Software Super Savers, read more about them here
